Our throws program coaches the skills of shot putt, discus and javelin. In each throwing discipline, the focus will be on technique, strength, and power. Athletes will develop proper throwing mechanics, improve their technique, and build the physical strength needed to achieve their best throws. With a combination of skill-focused drills and strength training, athletes will have the opportunity to enhance their performance and compete in local, count and regional events. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your throws, join us to reach new distances and excel in the throws events.
