Welcome
Thank you for showing an interest in joining Holland Sports Athletics Club.
As you work through the application process you will be asked to read a number of club policies, either as an athlete yourself or as a parent of a junior athlete. Please take the time to read our Athlete Code of Conduct and Photography Policy in particular.
7 and upwards
For welfare reasons, we welcome members from age 7 upwards to apply to join Holland Sports Athletics Club.
Joining Costs
- Initial Joining fee: £45
- Quarterly Subscription thereafter: £23
Joining Instructions
We will communicate with you via Spond about your annual subscription. You only need to complete a Spond sign-up form once.
Membership of the Holland Sports and Social Association
Please note, all members of the Athletics Club become members of the HS&SA which looks after the clubhouse and the four sports that use the facilities. Parents of junior athletics club members become members of the HS&SA.
Managing your data
Spond complies with Data Protection legislation. Our Privacy Policy complies with GDPR guidelines.
We delete non-member information from our systems when it is no longer needed.

Where your money goes
England Athletics Membership: £23
£23 of your annual subscription is spent on registration fees to England Athletics. There are multiple benefits that we get as a club including access to resources, coaching courses and expertise including Safeguarding advice. There are multiple benefits that you receive as an individual member including cheaper race entry fees, entry to league races and fixtures and money off certain shops and brands.
Holland Sports and Social Association
This volunteer-led not-for-profit organisation looks after the clubhouse and facilities at Mill Lane. Athletes use the facilities and track weekly, as well as when the club host events such as cross-countries and our annual relays. The Association supports the maintenance of all these athletic facilities. This organisation puts back all the money it makes each year to help promote sport, fitness and bring the local community together in Hurst Green.
If you are already a member of the Association via the football club, you see the benefits that the this organisation brings through the investment in football infra-structure. Likewise, the Association also fund investment into the athletics infra-structure.
Club vest: £32
When you first join Holland Sports Athletics Club, you will receive a vest so you are ready to compete. The price of membership is less when you re-new (£92) to reflect that you already have a vest.
Holland Sports Athletics Club: The rest
The Athletics Club is always looking to keep equipment in as good a condition as possible, maintain the track, promote the development of coaches and promote sport locally. The rest of your money is spent making sure the athlete experience at Holland Sports Athletics Club is as good as possible every single time you step on the track. The Club holds an Annual General Meeting each year to let you know how your subscriptions have been spent.
