Unseasonably warm weather greeted the fifty athletes from Holland Sports that made the short journey to run around the beautiful Oxshott Woods in south London. An undulating course up and around the woods, this is one of the most scenic courses in the Surrey League calendar, with interesting single-track sections, as well as some sharp hills and some gentle downhill runs. Both men’s and women’s teams ensured that the great start to the early season continued and look set for promotion at the end of the cross-country season should the form continue: exciting times!
