Twelve athletes from the Senior Endurance Squad made the journey to Milton Keynes to take part in the Southern 12-stage relays, an event that takes place over alternating short and long stages of 8 and 5 kilometres respectively. The winners, Cambridge and Coleridge out-sprinted the team from local powerhouse Tonbridge over the last 200 metres or so in a time of 4 hours and 10 minutes, with the twelve man team of Holland Sports coming home in a very respectable fifteenth place, sandwiched between local clubs Guildford and Godalming and Bromley and Blackheath. Well done all those that made the journey to Milton Keynes, the first time that a team from the club has been represented in this event that pits the best clubs in the South-East together and further goes to show the increasing depth of the squad at Holland Sports Athletics Club: the future continues to be bright!
