Chris Blackburn (V50) once again gained selection to represent England in the autumn international Masters cross-country to be held in Leeds in mid-November. With automatic selection only gained by being in the top three, Chris made sure of this by winning the 50-54 aged category race over the 5 mile off-road route. There are multiple opportunities for more ‘senior’ athletes to represent their country with Chris having done so on both the road and over the country last year. The group training at Holland Sports through the week is made up of a wide range of ages – with all being welcome to join in, improve and achieve their personal bests.
