Conditions were far from ideal as runners from Holland Sports toed the line in Portsmouth today for the Great South Run, a 10 mile race around the streets and parks of the south-coast town. Well done to Holland Sports Second-claimers Jack Woods, who finished twelfth in a time of 51.07, shortly followed in fifteenth place by Nick Bester in a time of 51.25 (watch out for the video that will follow shortly). Andy Green, 54.21, continues to impress as he makes his comeback from injury earlier in the season and will be more than ready for his debut over the country for Holland Sports in mid November. Stuart Brown: 61.54, Paddy West, 66.39, completed the quintet of runners that represented Holland Sports or who are currently training under the guidance of Neil Danby, the club’s senior endurance coach.
