The sport of running takes many forms and those people dedicated and committed to Parkruns and Parkrunning make up a huge number of people that don trainers each week. Holland Sports Athletics Club has a number of dedicated Parkrunners that turn out each Saturday at 9.00am at different venues across the country – and world – to join the half a million or so other Parkrunners globally that start each weekend with a 5k run.

Informal, friendly, and with a whole host of milestones to achieve, Mark Champagne was at the Greenwich Peninsula Parkrun this weekend to complete his 250th Parkrun. He has now retired his ‘100 Parkruns’ T-shirt, up-grading it to the ‘250’ version you can see in the picture above. Congratulations to Mark who was joined by serial Parkrunner, James Saunders, on the fast, flat course at Greenwich. Other notable Parkruns this weekend included Andy Cornish running through a crisp, misty morning at Richmond Park, Neil Jones in Leamington and globe-trotter Ant Moore who ran in the Maaraue Parkrun in Mainz, Germany.
