Thank you for showing an interest in joining Holland Sports Athletics Club. There are a number of benefits in becoming a member of Holland Sports, the main one being that you would be joining a vibrant, community club to be with like-minded people who enjoy being outside, being active and who enjoy being part of a thriving, energising group of people.
As you work through the application process you will be asked to read a number of club policies, either as an athlete yourself or as a parent of a junior athlete. Please take the time to read our Athlete Code of Conduct and Photography Policy in particular.
7 and upwards
For welfare reasons, we welcome members from age 7 upwards to apply to join Holland Sports Athletics Club.
Spond
The club uses Spond to communicate with junior members and to collect subscriptions and process payments for all athletes. Spond is an App-based system that all athletes are encouraged to download onto their mobile phones.

Where your money goes
England Athletics Membership: £20
£20 of your annual subscription is spent on registration fees to England Athletics. There are multiple benefits that we get as a club including access to resources, coaching courses and expertise including Safeguarding advice. There are multiple benefits that you receive as an individual member including cheaper race entry fees, free entry to the Surrey cross-country League and Southern Athletics League (seniors), the Downs cross-country league, the Lily B, Ebbisham and Youth Development Athletics Leagues (Under 18s).
Holland Sports and Social Association: £15
This volunteer-led not-for-profit organisation looks after the clubhouse and facilities at Mill Lane. Athletes use the facilities and track weekly, as well as when the club host events such as cross-countries and our annual relays. This organisation puts back all the money it makes each year to help promote sport, fitness and bring the local community together.
Club vest: £20
When you first join Holland Sports Athletics Club, you will receive a vest so you are ready to compete. The price of membership is less when you re-new (£85) to reflect that you already have a vest.
Holland Sports Athletics Club: The rest
The Athletics Club is always looking to keep equipment in as good a condition as possible, maintain the track, promote the development of coaches and promote sport locally. The rest of your money is spent making sure the athlete experience at Holland Sports Athletics Club is as good as possible every single time you step on the track. The Club holds an Annual General Meeting each year to let you know how your subscriptions have been spent.
