Six Holland Sports athletes were involved in action on Tuesday night around the pan-flat Battersea Park course, the home of 5k running in London and the South-East of England. Conditions were cool and still, perfect for fast racing as runners gathered near the bandstand before the off! Well done Matt Pears who finished in 20 minutes and 50 seconds, Andy Cornish (20: 35) and Emma Proto, who ducked under the 20 minute barrier with a time of 19 minutes, 57 seconds. Holland Sports newbie, Adam Baker finished in a time of 17: 52, with Stuart Brown just ahead in 17: 36 whilst almost equalling his lifetime PB. Competing in the V50 age group for the first time and coming in second in this age category was Steve Aish who crossed the line in a time of 17 minutes and 29 seconds: a great night of racing all round!
