More action took place across Europe over the weekend, as Holland Sports’ Stuart Brown, took the opportunity to add to his global marathon tally by running in the Florence Marathon. A fast and flat marathon that takes in many of the sites of this historic Italian city, Stuart clocked in with a new PB of 2 hours 54 minutes and 24 seconds – well and truly in the sub 3-hour club.
6.6 million residents of the UK entered some form of running race in 2024 (not including Parkrun events). If you have been inspired by watching others compete or are looking for a new challenge or new goal for 2025, make contact through the Holland Sports website or pop along on a Tuesday or Wednesday night to see why running is the UK’s number one participation sport.
