Two senior athletes were involved in racing on the roads at the weekend: both in the popular Kingston event. Paul Ramsier won the V60 competition over the flat, fast 10k course, clocking in at 42 minutes and 17 seconds whilst Julien Paillard knocked minutes of his half-marathon PB time, finishing in a time of 1 hour 24 minutes and 51 seconds to give him the silver medal in the men’s V40 competition.

If you are an ‘older’ runner and still enjoy competing, the feeling of pushing yourself and the challenge of trying to run quickly, have a look through our website. We have plenty of ‘older’ (similarly to UK Swimming, UK Athletics calls us ‘Masters’) runners still competing for medals in our respective age groups both individually and as a club team: come down and talk to us. We look forward to meeting you in the near future.
