Well done to the six junior boys that made the trip to Croydon to compete in the Ebbisham Boys Athletics League on Saturday. A great way to start the summer holidays with some real stand-out performances.

Great to see Charlie win his Under 16 1500 metres in a new PB of 4.39 and team mate Rowan win his long jump in 5 metres and 32 centimetres. Great to see Tristan competing in the throws and coming 2nd in the Under 16 shot put (7.69) and third in the javelin (26.29). The boys are definitely all-rounders with Rowan also competing in the 100 and 300 metres and Tristan in the 200 metres.

In the Under 18s, Thomas E. came close to his PB in the 800 metres, running 2.24. In the Under 12s, Alex ran both the 75 and 150 metre races – the first time he has competed in a Holland Sports vest. Well done Thomas S who ran the 800 metres in a new PB of 2.41, a 200 metres and long jump in the Under 14 boys competition.

A great day of athletics: well done all the members of the junior squad and all the parents who accompanied and transported the athletes back and forth.
