Thirteen junior athletes from Holland Sports Athletics Club made the trip to Epsom to compete in the latest girls only Lily B Athletics fixture. there were some great performances all round with many of the athletes gaining on PBs on what was a great day for running on the track. Well done Clara R (3.47) and Katy M (2.90) in the long jump who both recorded PBs. Both Clara (11.54) and Katy (11.63) also competed in the Under 12 75 metres, along with Maisie W (11.63) and Amelie G (11.94). Maisie (1.59), Isla H (2.06) and Alex B (2.17) run PBs in the 600 metres.

In the Under 14 category, Phoebe A (13.37) recorded a new PB over 100 metres, backed up by Sophie M (14.61). Both Phoebe (28.57) and Sophie (31.38) competed over 200 metres gaining PBs in this event as well. Well done Eloise R who came fourth in the 800 metres in a time of 2.39. Lovely to see Polly W back competing again running in the 100 metres (16.28) and throwing the javelin for the first time (7.90 metres). Well done Isla M, who equalled her PB in the high jump of 1 metre and 40 centimetres.

We have one final Lily B fixture left on Saturday 29th August when we are aiming to have twenty athletes out competing on the track.
