Athletes from Holland Sports Athletics Club were out again over the weekend in beautiful September weather, aiming to get PBs in the Reigate half and 10k races. Scenic, but not the flattest of courses, Run Reigate offers athletes the chance to see where their training is at in this friendly, well-organised, local race. Well done Lucas Abrams in his final local race before heading to uni, clocking 1: 24:30 over the half-marathon distance, followed by Nick Hickman (1:29:55), local teacher Paddy Dunford (1:33:48) and James Staton (1:45:34). In the women’s race, Alice Martin finished in 1:36:31 with Amy Hickman completing the undulating course in 2:07:15.

Great running from all who competed, as well as those Holland Sports runners that helped marshal the event. This sort of mass participation event doesn’t take place without the volunteers who help all along the course: well done to those that went to volunteer their time!
