Holland Ladies were out in force for the weekend’s Lingfield 10s on Sunday – where athletes have a choice of running either a 10k or 10 mile trail race that starts and finishes at Lingfield School and takes participants up into the wooded hills to the west of the town. The views are great, there are one or two inclines and the event itself is a real celebration of the wider running community, getting out and about and seeing the beauty of our local area. Well done all who ran.

Well done Paddy Dunford who finished the undulating 10k in 46.53 and Jemma Archer who completed the event in just over the hour. Well done to Lucy Berryman who came home second female in the 10 mile event in a time of 1 hour 16 minutes, with Emma Proto just behind in 3rd place (1: 18: 19). A lovely event – we will be returning next year.
