A good turnout of Holland Sports runners last weekend over 11 different Parkruns. At Wakehurst, Sophie Lovie was celebrating her birthday with friends and family and they all donned colourful and funny wigs to run in. I thought I’d counted 17 Holland runners at Parkruns this weekend but I’m sure I saw Jack Kavanagh in a wig too in the photos.

Elsewhere Sam Long continues his great form as first finisher at local Squerryes Winery in 18.15 on a very tough course.

A debut abroad to for Parkrun regulars Amy and Nick Hickman at the picturesque Skatas Parkrun in Sweden. I’m sure they’ll have the bug now for Parkruns abroad.

A big congratulations to Richmond parkrun diehard Andrew Cornish who ran his 200th parkrun and was joined by Emma Proto who incorporated it into her long run training as a lot of runners do. Well done to all our runners. Parkrun is a lovely event and we look forward to more of our club runners joining us.
