Holland Sports athletes again continued their Track and Field summer of possibilities in the Youth Development League on 1st August. Top performers in a busy day for our athletes were Isla – again dominant in her high jump competition (1st – 1.45). Isla continues to grow in confidence enjoying her second successive victory in the Youth Development League. Our other winner in the Under 16 B Javelin was Tristan who in his second week at the club and competing won the javelin with a big PB and throw of 25.34. Great to see an increasing number of athletes competing in more than one event and our field eventers scoring more points than our runners. Great to see 3 event performance athletes from Tristan, Logan and Thomas S.

Our list of athletes recording PBs included Tristran over 100 metres, 200 metres and javelin, Charlie over 800 metres (2.24.81) and both Thomas S and Paris over 200 metres.

A great day of athletics with lots of great individual and an all-round team performance: well done all!
